SG Trivia Superman, organised by the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA), is a trivia contest which aims to provide locals, new immigrants and foreigners a platform to understand Singapore's multi-faceted culture. By entering the contest, contestants (the "Contestant") are deemed to have accepted the following rules and regulations of SG Trivia Superman (the "Contest") set forth by the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (the "Organiser").
1.1 Participation in the Contest is open to all Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents and foreigners residing in Singapore. Participants below the age of 18 are deemed to have sought consent to participate in this Contest from their parent or guardian.
1.2 The Organiser reserves the right to conduct verification of all contestants' identities, contact numbers and email addresses.
1.3 Contestants who provide incomplete and/or inaccurate personal data and contact details shall be disqualified.
2.1 Once the Contest is launched, contestants may participate using computers and/or mobile devices.
2.2 Contestants are to register for an account on the contest webpage by providing his/her personal details which includes his/her full name as per NRIC, email address and contact number to participate in the quiz.
2.3 After completing the registration process, open "My Account" and click on "Start Quiz" to begin the quiz.
2.4 The Contest comprises of multiple-choice single answer questions, which are randomly generated from each question category by the game mechanism.
2.5 Each contestant is entitled to 3 attempts daily. Contestants will be brought to the next question by clicking on his/her selected answer for the current question. Each attempt has 10 questions and a time limit of 1 minute. The attempt will be automatically terminated after 1 minute.
The contest will be held for 8 different weekly session over a period of 2 months:

Session 5: 14.08.2021, 09:00 (SGT) - 20.08.2021, 23:59 (SGT)

Session 7: 28.08.2021, 09:00 (SGT) - 03.09.2021, 23:59 (SGT)

4.1 For every attempt, a time limit of 1 minute is given to answer 10 questions, with a total of 10 points to be earned. Each correct answer is awarded 1 point and the total points will be tallied according to the number of correct answers in each attempt. Every contestant is entitled to 3 attempts daily and the highest scoring attempt will be taken as the final result.
4.2 Each contestant's highest scoring attempt of the week shall be taken as their final score, which shall be used to determine the winner list for the week.
4.3 Contestants with the same score will be ranked according to time taken to answer the questions, with those clocking less time to be ranked higher.
5.1 There will be 6 winners from each weekly session, with a total of 48 winners throughout the 8 weeks. Each participant will only be entitled to win ONE prize throughout the 8 weeks.
5.2 Contestants can view their individual scores in "My Account". The "Scoreboard" webpage will also display the real-time ranking and the list of winners of each weekly session.
5.3 The top 6 contestants of each weekly session will be awarded with the respective prizes (in the form of shopping vouchers).

5.4 The list of winners for each weekly session will be announced on the official website on the Monday of the following week. Prize collection details will be sent to winners via the email address given during account registration within one week after the announcement of results. A current and valid email address is required for the claiming of prizes.
5.5 If the winner cannot be reached via the email address given during account registration (E.g. no reply is received within 14 days of notification and/or the email is stated by the system to be "undeliverable"), his/her prize will be forfeited.
5.6 All vouchers are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. The Organiser will not be responsible for any lost, damage, void or expire vouchers. Shopping vouchers will be subjected to its respective Terms & Conditions.
5.7 All contestants are automatically ranked by the game mechanism according to his/her score attained. Rankings determined by the game mechanism are to be deemed final. No further disputes shall be entertained.
6.1 By participating in the Contest, the Contestant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these rules and regulations, and the decisions of the Organiser, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The winning of a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth within these rules and regulations. Contestants are deemed to have met all requirements for eligibility to participate in the Contest. Any contestant found to be acting in violation of the rules and regulations may, in the Organiser's sole discretion, be disqualified.
6.2 The Contestant shall indemnify the Organiser against any and all claim, losses, costs, damages, liability and expenses arising out of the Contestant's breach of any of these rules and regulations.
6.3 The Organiser shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay and/or failure in the receipt of entry due to the inability of the respective Internet Service Provider [ISP] company and/or telecommunication network to provide timely and/or efficient internet and/or telecommunication services.
6.4 The Contestant also agree that the Organiser is not responsible nor liable for any delay, injury or damage to the Contestant's and/or any third party's computer, computer system or equipment relating to or resulting from the access to, participation in the Contest, including the playing, downloading of any materials or information from the official contest website and in connection with the Contest, submission/uploading of the information/time score for the Contest, including without limitation any server failure, lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction.
6.5 The Organiser is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telecommunication network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet and/or telecommunication networks.
6.6 The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Contest in the event that it becomes incapable of running as planned, is technically interfered or corrupted, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organiser, despite the best efforts of the Organiser.
6.7 These rules and regulations shall be governed by Singapore law and the contestants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
The contestant hereby understand and agree that the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations ("SFCCA") will collect and use the information the contestant provided for this contest for the purposes of participating in the activity. By participating in this contest, the contestant expressly consent that SFCCA may disclose my information to relevant third parties in order to fulfil these purposes, including receiving of promotional and publicity materials for all SFCCA's events.
Photography, sound recording, videotaping and filming may be conducted for this contest. By participating in the contest, the contestant hereby consent to the use of my photograph, voice and image in any broadcasts of this contest and in subsequent productions drawn from video or audio recordings of this contest. The photographs and recordings may be published or broadcasted in public publications and in publicity materials, including SFCCA's websites and social media.
